Software Sales Executive
Locations: Reston, VA

Description:
Responsible for the sale of DATABASICS' software applications to prospects and customers.

Responsibilities of Position:

Meet and exceed minimum sales quotas established by Sales Management for new sales business.
Generate sales leads in addition to pursuing qualified lead sources by other internal/external resources.
Through training and research, responsible for being knowledgeable of all DATABASICS products and services.
Responsible for conducting standard product demonstrations and ROI analysis for prospects and customers.
Properly forecast revenue and meet/exceed committed revenue projections
Support channel partners

Requirements:

BA/BS in business related field of study or equivalent experience required. Additional related education and/or training a plus.
Minimum of 5 years sales experience, some of which involved the sales of technology related products and/or business-to-business services.
Excellent communication skills including the ability to comfortably relate and interact with senior level management in the areas of finance, sales, accounting, operations and technology.
Effective time management skills.
Demonstrated teamwork orientation and the ability to successfully work with others across the Company.
The ability/willingness to travel (day trips).

System and Application Consultant
Locations: Reston, VA

Description:
As a System and Application Consultant, you will provide billable on-site consulting and training to clients nationwide. This includes working on large and small projects as a member of the Consulting Implementation Team. Consultants analyze the requirements, help with the mechanics of the implementation, suggest ways to optimize the application, verify system configurations and implement system tests and rollout plans.

Requirements:

2-3 years of work related experience.
Experience with developing project plans.
Ability to handle multiple engagements simultaneously.
Ability to travel nationwide 50%.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Some knowledge of web application and ERP systems.
Some knowledge of SQL and database modeling.
Be self motivated.

Description:
As a System and Desktop IT Support, you will provide billable on-site or remote IT consulting to clients nationwide. This includes working on large and small projects as a member of the Consulting Implementation Team. Internship - Software Test Engineer
Locations: Reston, VA

Description:
Responsibilities include working closely with development team to interpret requirements and ask questions to formulate test plans. Developing creative, efficient, and effective testing strategies identifying critical data requirements and environment setup needs. Developing test plans and documenting test case descriptions and expected results. Validating test output and identifying differences between expected and actual results. Documenting and categorizing defects providing basis for root cause analysis and process improvements. Tracking progress and reporting daily status on tested projects.

Requirements:

Ability to develop and maintain test scripts.
Some knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and JSP.
Some knowledge of SQL and database modeling.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with defect tracking software and defect metrics.
Working towards a college degree in computer science or related field.
