Operations Research Analyst
Locations: Reston, VA

Description and Responibilities:
Collaborate with business managers and decision-makers to identify areas to streamline and automate business processes. Analyze information obtained from the management in order to conceptualize and define operational problems. Demonstrate the power of various functionalities of Databasics? expense and time reporting software products and highlight the benefits of implementing them to streamline/automate customers? business processes. Analyze the relationship between the customers? business requirements and the capabilities of Databasics? products. Map the business processes to provide a foundation for defining business activities and develop procedures, models, and operational processes. Translate the business requirements into appropriate functional/technical specifications to customize Databasics?software to meet customer?s requirements. Serve as the main liaison between business users and company?s technical teams. Specify the inputs to be accessed by the system, and format the output to meet user needs; and resolve issues related to workflows and system functionality. Provide functional input to the in-house software development teams to develop customizations and functionalities to meet customer needs. Develop use cases, work flow diagrams, data flow diagrams and process flow diagrams. Conduct presentations to the clients for acceptance. Create appropriate documentation based upon findings and assist in guiding and tracking the progress of customer-related enhancements. Coordinate with the Software Development and Support Group regarding customer issues as necessary. Conduct market research and assist in development of new functionalities and overall strategy to promote products and services of the company.

• Master?s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as Business Analyst, Marketing Analyst or in Project Management.
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to comfortably relate and interact with senior level management in the areas of finance, sales, accounting, operations and technology.
• Effective time management skills.
• Demonstrated teamwork orientation and the ability to successfully work with others across the Company.
• The ability/willingness to travel (day trips).

• Meet and exceed minimum sales quotas established by Sales Management for new sales business.
• Generate sales leads in addition to pursuing qualified lead sources by other internal/external resources.
• Through training and research, responsible for being knowledgeable of all DATABASICS products and services.
• Responsible for conducting standard product demonstrations and ROI analysis for prospects and customers.
• Properly forecast revenue and meet/exceed committed revenue projections
• Support channel partners

• BA/BS in business related field of study or equivalent experience required. Additional related education and/or training a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years sales experience, some of which involved the sales of technology related products and/or business-to-business services.
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to comfortably relate and interact with senior level management in the areas of finance, sales, accounting, operations and technology.
• Effective time management skills.
• Demonstrated teamwork orientation and the ability to successfully work with others across the Company.
• The ability/willingness to travel (day trips).

• 2-3 years of work related experience.
• Experience with developing project plans.
• Ability to handle multiple engagements simultaneously.
• Ability to travel nationwide 50%.
