DATABASICS Adds Vendor Invoice Processing

DATABASICS Expense Reporting has been extended to include vendor invoice processing. Vendor invoices can now be imaged and routed for review using DATABASICS’ industry-leading workflow engine.

Reston, VA — May 9th, 2012 — DATABASICS announced today the general availability of Vendor Invoice Processing (VIP). VIP, together with DATABASICS Expense Reporting, brings the full range of an organization’s purchasing activity under a single, adaptable, transparent system of controls. VIP provides for invoice imaging, review and approval, Accounts Payables posting and electronic payment. Routing is automatic and highly flexible so that different “paths” can be established based upon criteria such as vendor, amount, terms and type of item.

Like all DATABASICS solutions, VIP is seamlessly integrated into the DATABASICS environment. As well, VIP easily integrates with your procurement and payments systems so that your operation can be as efficient and effective as possible.

According to Marcel Syriani, DATABASICS CTO, “Effective Vendor Invoice Processing is about integration, workflow and accountability. The right people have to review the invoice. All the information relating to their decision has to be right there for them. And every step, every action has be recorded. Much of this capability was already in our Expense Reporting so it made sense for us to re-purpose it and expand the scope of what we can offer our customers.”

DATABASICS’ Expense Reporting, Vendor Invoice Processing, and Time Tracking are the industry’s most comprehensive, flexible, and fully-integrated solutions of their kind available.

DATABASICS’ customers represent all types of organizations: financial services, healthcare, mining and manufacturing, retail, hospitality, transportation, federal contracting, state government, education and non-profit. What they share is a need to significantly increase efficiency in managing their expenditures and labor for that they rely on DATABASICS.
